Will Russia and the U.S. end up fighting a proxy war in Syria?

The recent surge in the supply of American-built weapons to the Syrian rebels determined to topple the government of President Bashar al-Assad has sparked a heated discussion on whether this constitutes the gearing up of a “proxy war” between Washington and Moscow...
It is a known fact that the Sunni monarchies, staunch enemies of the Assad regime, have been supplying their Syrian protégées with TOW anti-tank guided missiles. According to sources from The New York Times, the CIA has a similar program of arming the Syrian opposition with TOWs, launched in 2013 and conducted through local intermediaries.
Recent reports claim that since the launch of Russia’s military operation against Islamic State (ISIS) the flow of TOWs, aimed at destroying Assad’s tanks, has increased. Dozens of video clips have been posted lately on the internet showcasing the efficiency of the American-made BGM-71 TOW with pictures of Assad’s burning tanks. This has allegedly cut short and brought to a standstill the recent offensive by the Syrian army.
This looks like a symbolic gain. But could it become a game-changer? According to Ruslan Pukhov, director of the Center for Analysis of Strategies and Technologies, who spoke to Troika Report, the rebels are now attempting to regain the initiative on the ground. Moreover,
“What might turn the tables is the theoretical supply to paramilitary formations of the Syrian opposition of Stinger anti-aircraft missile launchers. If Stingers are delivered to the battlefield, it would mean a full-fledged proxy war between the United States and Russia.”

US citizen in Israel for 18 months against his will

Yadidya is a US citizen who walks the streets of Israel with his suitcase. He has been held there against his will for nearly 18 months. Yadidya’s crime is a family connection to Israel, where he has a child.
This week Yadidya was forced to undergo a psychiatric assessment. The reason? Because an Israeli woman can order one on her former husband at any time.
He went to the US embassy for help. He didn’t see an American, and was just told to fill in a form.
Yadidya is like many other foreign nationals trapped in Israel with no way out. Europeans and Americans come to Israel in the belief that they are landing in the in the country of their dreams. But the reality is different.
Yadidya arrived to a nightmare and a country which has destroyed his liberty, dignity and human rights.
Many more people are coming forward to plead for help to the international community. They are Israelis who are trapped – almost a million of them, the parents of children sold by the Welfare and Social Services Ministry. In Israel, some 10,000 children a year are trafficked in this way, sold to private institutions at a profit of USD 5,000 per child per month.

Israel: Racist mob lynches migrant as violence intensifies

An angry Jewish mob lynched an unarmed Eritrean migrant worker in the southern city of Beer Sheba after an Israeli security guard repeatedly shot him on Sunday. The crowd cursed and kicked him, chanting, “Death to Arabs!” “Arabs out!” and “Am Israel Hai!” (“The people of Israel still live”).
The murder underscores the noxious atmosphere of xenophobia, racism and fear that Israeli Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu has stoked up in a bid to deflect rising social discontent among Jewish Israelis, whose living conditions are in many cases only marginally better than those of the Palestinians. At the last elections, Netanyahu urged Jewish Israelis to vote, saying that “swarms of Arabs” were going to the polling stations.
Ultra-nationalist Jewish politicians have encouraged the mobilisation of vigilante groups and fascistic mobs that go on the rampage while the police stand and watch. Settler gangs that murder Palestinians and attack and destroy their property go unpunished. Now, Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat has openly encouraged Jewish Israelis to arm themselves and take vigilante action.

Israeli General Captured in Iraq Confesses to Israel-Isis Coalition

USA Parliament (Intr) Foreign Minister and European Department for Security and Information Secretary General Ambassador Dr Haissam Bou Said exclusively confirms to VT that the Israeli Brigadier Yussi Elon Shahak captured by the Iraqi popular army confessed during the investigation that: “there is a strong cooperation between MOSSAD and ISIS top military commanders...Israeli advisors helping the Organization on laying out strategic and military plans, and guiding them in the battlefield”
General Shahak was captured by Shiite militia and is still being held in Iraq. His captors are keeping DESI informed, a European security organization with close ties to VT. The article below is based on questions we submitted to his captors this morning. We also inquired as to the conditions under which he is being held.
The terrorist organization also has military consultants from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, United Arab Emirates and Jordan. Saudi Arabia has so far provided ISIS with 30,000 vehicles, while Jordan rendered 4500 vehicles. Qatar and United Arab Emirates delivered funds for covering ISIS overall expenditure.
The planes belonging to the aforesaid countries are still landing in the Mosel airport, carrying military aid and fighters, especially via the Jordanian borders.
The Parliament and the DESI also confirm the Death of ISIS leader Abu Baker al Baghdadi, who received two bullets: one in the head and the other in the shoulder in a fire exchange. Two of his top aides were killed as well. It is believed that the CIA and MOSSAD are behind his death as he becomes a wasted commodity.
Furthermore, Eight ISIS top commanders were killed in “Haith” in an Iraqi airstrike after two weeks of surveillance by the Iraqi military service.
The report concluded that ISIS terrorist group recently arrested in Moscow came from Syria and Iraq through Ukraine. The perpetrators were planning to carry out subversive operations in railways and bus stations. The bombers are from Chechen, Caucasus, Iraqi, Syrian and Saudi nationalities.
Ukraine became the hotbed of embracing terrorist activities in complicity with Putin’s arch enemies who want to break up Russia and then absorb it in revenge of his military intervention in Syria.

Netanyahu causes uproar by blaming Palestinians for Holocaust

Israeli prime minister under fire for suggesting that a World War II-era Palestinian leader convinced the Nazis to adopt their Final Solution to exterminate European Jews.
Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli prime minister, was accused of inciting violence against Palestinians and “trivialising" the Holocaust after he claimed it was the Palestinian Mufti of Jerusalem who convinced Hitler to exterminate the Jews.
Speaking at the World Zionist Congress in Jerusalem, Mr Netanyahu said Haj Amin al-Husseini, who served as the grand mufti from 1921 to 1948, “had a central role in fomenting the final solution” by telling Hitler to kill the Jews.
The comments, which come amid a deepening outbreak of violence in Israel and the West Bank, drew an immediate backlash from both Palestinian and Israeli Arab leaders and Israeli Holocaust experts.
Ayman Odeh, the leader of the Arab Joint List faction in the Knesset, accused Mr Netanyahu of "rewriting history in order to incite against the Palestinian people".
He denounced Mr Netanyahu as "dangerous" for both Israelis and Palestinians, adding: "The victims of the Nazi monster, among them millions of Jews, have become cheap propaganda in the service of peace rejectionism."
Saeb Erekat, the secretary general of the Palestine Liberation Organisation, said the Israeli prime minister was absolving "the most notorious war criminal in history".
“This is a dangerous distortion of history, and I demand that Netanyahu correct this immediately since he is trivialising the Holocaust,” Isaac Herzog, the leader of Israel’s opposition, wrote on Facebook.
Berlin also weighed in on the row, saying the responsibility for the holocaust laid with Germany.

Is Hizb-ut-Tahrir another project of British MI6?

General Pervez Musharraf acknowledged in his book, ‘In the Line of Fire’, that Omar Saeed Sheikh – the man who was convicted for killing Wall Street Journal’s correspondent Daniel Pearl, in 2002, was recruited by MI6, the British intelligence agency.
We also know that Omar Saeed Sheikh conducted terrorist strikes in India and was also very close to the sectarian terrorist outfits in Pakistan besides being very close to the former Intelligence Bureau Head, Brig. (rtd) Ijaz Shah. Omar Saeed was also linked (in the reports of the Associated Press, DAWN, CNN, Fox News, ABC News, among others) to transferring $100,000 to Mohd. Atta, who allegedly led the hijackings of 9/11.
So when people talk about a nexus of the Western intelligence agencies, Pakistani spy masters, and the terrorists in Pakistan, it is more than just conspiracy theory. Some of the facts have been so well documented and in some instance, as in the case of Omar Saeed Sheikh, acknowledged by people like Musharraf and Benazir Bhutto.

Michael Rivero: Hizb-ut-Tahrir is the "terror" group just arrested in Russia for planning to bomb the railway systems. Like Al Qaeda and ISIS, it appears to be a creation of western intelligence agencies.

The new generations of Palestinians are fed up with the 67 years old Israeli occupation, colonial state violence and ethnic cleansing, settlers’ colonization, apartheid racism and discrimination, checkpoint humiliations, wars, home demolitions, land confiscations, imprisonments, international bias and injustice, abandonment by their brethren Arabs, and oppressed by the Israeli proxy Palestinian Authority.
Since the beginning of this month (October) we have been witnessing on social media horrific videos of vicious attacks by Israeli soldiers, extremist religious settlers, and even seemingly Israeli civilians shouting “Death to Arabs” while gunning down Palestinian children demonstrators, insulting them and watching them in vigilante gleeful mood bleeding to death.
Palestinian youth have been demonstrating in the streets of every Palestinian town against the religiously extremist Jewish settlers’ violations of the sanctity of the Al-Aqsa Mosque; the third holiest Islamic site after Al-Haram Mosque in Mecca and Al-Nabawi Mosque in Medina in Saudi Arabia.
Religiously extremist Jewish settlers have been increasingly storming Al-Aqsa Compound under the protection of Israeli soldiers, where they perform their religious dances. During these provocations the Israeli soldiers routinely attack Al-Aqsa guards and Moslem prayers with stun grenades, tear gas and with rubber coated steel bullets. In their attempt to evacuate the mosque the Israeli soldiers break down doors and windows. These violations had ignited what many are calling a third Palestinian Intifada (uprising).

Palomares nuclear crash: US agrees Spanish coast clean-up

Almost 50 years after four nuclear bombs fell on the Spanish coast after two US military planes collided, American officials have signed a deal to clean up contaminated land.
None of the bombs detonated in January 1966, but three fell around Palomares and a fourth was found on the sea bed.
Highly toxic plutonium was spread over a 200-hectare (490-acre) area.
On a visit to Madrid, Secretary of State John Kerry agreed to finalise a deal on disposing of contaminated soil.
Under the agreement in principle, signed by Mr Kerry and Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Garcia-Margallo, the US will remove the soil at Palomares to a site in the US.
Spanish media said the soil would be transported to a site in Nevada. The deal comes a few months before the 50th anniversary of the crash, one of the most serious nuclear incidents of the Cold War.
An earlier consignment of contaminated soil was shipped to a site in South Carolina shortly after the accident and buried in deep trenches.
But further analysis of soil in the area has been carried out in recent years, and the health of residents in the Palomares area is still being monitored.
Spain waits for US to finish nuclear clean-up.

More US teenagers are killed by Big Pharma than by prohibited drugs, study shows

A revealing new study has shown that the number of deaths suffered annually by American teenagers at the hands of illegal drugs is far, far less than those suffered from prescription medication.
The study, which was published in theJournal of Public Policy and Marketing, noted that there were far fewer deaths from heroin and cocaine combined than from Big Pharma drugs.
As reported by the media site Reset.me, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), pharmaceutical abuse was the cause of some 23,000 deaths in 2013, or more than half the overdose deaths in the United States that same year.
“Prescription drugs have a disproportionately large effect on teenagers,” the site reported, noting that the CDC has called it an “epidemic.”
